I am a Registered Nurse with a BS in Nursing, a Masters in Management Information Systems and has completed a 9 month fellowship in Patient Safety. As a Quality Professional for over 25 years, Sally has assisted numerous organizations in integrating quality and strategic planning into an organization-wide system of performance improvement.
I have years of direct experience in post - acute and long term care including serving as a QA Director for a Critical Access Hospital with a regional home health care organization and a 50 bed skilled unit, as a Staff Development/Infection Control Coordinator in a 180 bed Long Term Care facility and most recently as a SMQT certified surveyor in Long Term Care and ICF/MR for the State of Virginia.
A strong foundation in Medical Surgical, Emergency Services and Critical Care including experience as an instructor in a 3 year nursing program, as a Unit Manager of an Emergency Department, and through the completion of a 9 month Fellowship in Patient Safety, have all served to inform my practice as an educator/trainer.
